Thanks to the effort of several volunteers, a kitten that was seen on the roadside now has a feline friend to rely on constantly.
While driving, a woman noticed something lying by the side of the road. As she approached, she realized it was a cream-colored kitten that wasn’t moving. After pulling over and crossing the road, she discovered that the kitten was still breathing and decided to take action. Relieved that the kitten was alive, she picked it up and rushed it to get help. Unfortunately, the mother cat was also found nearby, but it appeared that she had been in a car accident and did not survive. Despite this tragedy, the kitten managed to survive on its own by the side of the road.
A little kitten was discovered on the side of the road and was taken to the city animal shelter by the person who found it. However, the shelter wasn’t equipped to take care of the kitten, so the finder contacted the rescue community for assistance. Upon hearing about the kitten’s situation, the community members came together to save him.
After the incident, a wonderful team of volunteers united and planned to bring the kitten over to Montreal for ChatonsOrphelinsMontreal. One of the volunteers quickly transported the kitten to the rescue center for immediate medical care. The rest of the team headed back to the area to ensure there were no other kittens in harm’s way.
Trooper, the cream-colored kitten, was incredibly tiny, weighing only 348 grams. He appeared delicate and weak, opting to curl up in a warm blanket while he rode in his carrier. Despite his small size, Trooper had visible injuries on his head and was covered in grime, emphasizing his exhaustion. When touched, every bone in his body could be felt due to his frailty.
The little feline, who was believed to be only five weeks old, weighed a mere 348 grams, which is just as much as a three-week-old kitten should weigh. Despite the hardships he had faced, Trooper was determined to survive and thrive. He had a strong appetite and an unyielding will to live.
Because of his condition, it was unlikely that Trooper would have survived for much longer if he hadn’t been found when he was. The kind individuals who rescued him named him “Trooper” because of his resilience and determination to push through.
Trooper finally got to experience the comfort of a warm bed and a satisfying meal on his first night in foster care. His foster mom, Celine, devoted her time to look after him, making sure he was fed every three hours, even during the wee hours of the night. Trooper’s resilience shone through as he began to eat and drink on his own after a few days under Celine’s care. Truly, he is a little fighter.
Trooper had a satisfying meal and dozed off peacefully, but he craved companionship. In the wee hours, he meowed for his mother. Trooper had a refreshing bath to cleanse his fur of all the filth and muck.
Celine is dedicating a lot of time to ensure that the kitten receives all the love and care necessary for him to feel secure. Her resident feline, Marsha, has been offering her assistance as well. Marsha, a loving senior cat, adores kittens and goes out of her way to help those who require it. Trooper, in particular, appeared to benefit from Marsha’s nurturing demeanor when they first met.
Marsha lavished attention on Trooper, pampering him and caring for him. Before long, the two of them were caught snoozing together. Trooper is absolutely thrilled to have a feline companion to rely on, and Marsha was the perfect friend to him, showing him affection and letting him know that he’s valued. He loves being close to her, snuggling up under her fluffy belly and feeling safe and warm.
Marsha is Trooper’s cuddle buddy, as he has gained a lot of weight and muscle since his rescue. He is now discovering and playing in his new environment with enthusiasm. The lifesaving operation was a group effort. Many volunteers aided in his rehabilitation, which is why Trooper now eats heartily and revels in his newfound security and serenity.
