The Range Rover that comes with armor can endure the impact of 7.62 mm bullets and the explosion of two hand grenades at the same time.
Inkas, the experts in armored vehicles, have unveiled the world’s first armoring package for the latest model of the Land Rover Range Rover.
Inkas has designed upgrades for the Range Rover that are discreet and unnoticeable to the untrained eye. These enhancements provide the vehicle with certified CEN 1063 BR6 level protection, safeguarding passengers against 7.62 mm high-power rifle ammunition. Moreover, the SUV can endure the detonation of two DB51 hand grenades at once underneath it.
Apart from strengthening the body panels, Inkas has added various security features to the Range Rover. The glass used is of military-grade ballistic quality, and an armored door overlap system has been incorporated to prevent ammunition from entering through the seams. Additionally, a rear armored bulkhead partition has been installed. The vehicle now also boasts runflat tires with solid polycarbonate inserts for added protection.
